“The brakes failed while driving. While driving as a slow speed (fortunately) I applied the brakes and all the dash faults came on and the braked failed to work. I had to use the e-brake to stop. I turned the car off, back on, the faults cleared and the brakes work. This could become a deadly crash if it occurs at high speed and the need to stop abruptly happens.”
NHTSA complaint #11319740, filed 2020-03, 30,000 miles“I'm not sure but I think it's the regenerative brakes. They came on so hard when I let off the gas. I was almost rear ended and the guy behind me was pissed off. I was on the 15 fwy going about 70 when I let off the gas and the brakes slammed on. And on cost hwy going about 30 MPH let off the gas and the brakes slammed on.”
NHTSA complaint #11032615, filed 2017-10, 3,035 miles“While slowing down to make a turn, warnings started popping up on the driver display listing numerous failures and the brake system failed. (there were about half a dozen errors but I didn't catch them all ... Adaptive cruise control problem', 'brake system problem , vehicle stability assist problem , collision mitigation system problem , road departure mitigation system problem , etc. This happened 3 times over the next 15 minutes as we tried to make our way home. …”
NHTSA complaint #11187318, filed 2019-03, 42,228 miles“As I was driving on the highway on the left lane at a speed of 60-65 MPH, all the safety systems on the car reported error and I lost the brakes on the car. I was able to move into the right most lane and eventually onto the shoulder of the highway and come to a rolling stop by shifting into neutral. I tried to restart the car to see if the sensors reset, but that didn't happen. I had to get towed home and then to the Honda dealership. …”

I applied the brake pedal & the car didn't slow down. I used the handheld parking brake to stop. When the car was turned off & restarted systems all worked for a few minutes & then failed again. I drove off the highway to safety & parked. On saturday, april 28, 2018, I drove the car to Honda service center. Service advisor fenix did not believe me but they ended up giving me a loaner car. …”
