Example complaints

Brakes: “The brakes failed while driving. While driving as a slow speed (fortunately) I applied the brakes and all the dash faults came on and the braked failed to work. I had to use the e-brake to stop. I turned the car off, back on, the faults cleared and the brakes work. This could become a deadly crash if it occurs at high speed and the need to stop abruptly happens.”

NHTSA complaint #11319740, filed 2020-03, 30,000 miles

Electrical system: “On friday, april 27, 2018, while driving on a major highway and parkway on three occasions I had a system failure while driving and lost braking ability. I applied the brake pedal & the car didn't slow down. I used the handheld parking brake to stop. When the car was turned off & restarted systems all worked for a few minutes & then failed again. I drove off the highway to safety & parked. On saturday, april 28, 2018, I drove the car to Honda service center. Service advisor fenix did not believe me but they ended up giving me a loaner car. …”

NHTSA complaint #11099338, filed 2018-06, 31,000 miles

Other or unknown: “When you accelerate on the gas the car jumps and you can feel it in the gas pedal. I have taken it to Honda and they can not figure it out since no one else has complained about it. Doesn't jump all the time but mostly when I am over 40 MPH, sometimes it has jumped as soon as I have taken off”

NHTSA complaint #11280042, filed 2019-11, 32,000 miles

Engine: “Sometimes the car starts when I use the push to start button most times it doesn't. I have a to carry a portable battery so I won't get stuck at whatever destination I arrive. I had the battery checked. Nothing is wrong with battery”
