“Main problem is with the engine light coming on periodically and suspension noise in front and back. I have repeatedly taken the care into Honda and they go through a multiple step process of denial and attempts to run out my warranty.”

NHTSA complaint #10069898, filed 2004-01, 23,812 miles

“Front brake rotors are continually warping. Car has approximately 48,000 miles on the odometer and am now on my third set of rotors. First and second set of rotors were each re-machined prior to replacement. Spoke with Honda customer service and was told nothing they could do since they cannot verify my driving habits. Car has a manual transmission, so I use engine braking as much as possible to avoid overuse of the brakes. Am at the point now where I am afraid to use the brakes for fear of constantly warping the rotors. …”

NHTSA complaint #10078982, filed 2004-06, 47,800 miles

“I have had a total of 5 cd players in stalled, still no working radio! I have also been shocked several times and my car was pulling to the right 2 days after purchase when taken back to the dealer they said it was just a light weight car!”

NHTSA complaint #721929, filed 2000-04

“The lcd display in the cd radio is unreadable under most all lighting conditions, button labels are so small they can't be read. This creates a signifigant potentential hazard in operating it. Since it is a part of the vehicle, it seems it is an issue for your organization vs a consumer electronics issue, but it is somewhat both. Factory oem radios have much better display, but are they required to, but aftermarket seem to have no standards and I think they should. Do they. The unit I have is a clarion model rdb365d.”
