It would start but when you put in drive or reverse anything..the gears seemed as if it was in neutral. The car would not move.! I bought new. Kept up with anything that needed done. This could have killed my son!! No warning lights came on. Didnt overheat. Just cut off.”
NHTSA complaint #11233695, filed 2019-07, 123,200 miles“At 83450 miles the transmission went out. I drive easy highway miles to work. No stop and go traffic. I was stopped in my driveway when several warning lights began to flash one after the other. I remember the uphill assist light, power steering light, and 2 others came on. The car is now not under warranty. The dealership wants 3700 plus alignment for a used transmission with 86000 miles on it.”
NHTSA complaint #11389054, filed 2021-01, 84,000 miles“I bought my car new and have had it only 3 1/2 years. My issues started with my battery failing twice within a year of each other. I had to replace all 4 tires with new ones only a year after buying it because the tires were so worn down as if they were not new to begin with. Then I had a system failure that required my car to be taken in to service for a couple days. …”
NHTSA complaint #11242365, filed 2019-08, 50,000 miles“Vechicle was traveling at 50 MPH on a country backroad when engine revved to 4.5k RPM. Warning lights came on, on dashboard. Then the car started to shake. Got the car home and looked under the hood to find that transmission fluid cap had not been where it needed to be and was sitting next to the hole. Had to towed to the dealership where they told me I'll need a whole ne transmission when the car is under 86k miles”
