Selected from NHTSA records; personal details are removed. They are consumer reports, not findings.

“The clutch pedal plate assembly has cracked on my car, rendering the car immobile because the clutch pedal can no longer activate a switch to determine that the clutch pedal is depressed. Because the switch can not be pressed by the depressed clutch pedal any longer, the car can not be turned on. I have not yet fixed this problem because it will cost $400 to do so.”

NHTSA complaint #10267147, filed 2009-04, 153,590 miles

“I was inform by a friend that he received a recall regarding cv boot. Please inform me if this correct. I'm wondering the same defect the 2nd time. If not noticed the axle will break and will cause the vechicle to turn to left without notice and cause an accident.”

NHTSA complaint #705050, filed 1999-03

“My car came to a stop going up a ramp after it began jerking . I had the car towed and repaired at my expense because it was no longer under warranty. Approximately 4 months later it happened again, it was the coil in the distributor and the driveshaft was bent both times. I had the car repaired, but was urged to contact Honda to find if there was an open recall I was told by shockley Honda that there was no recall, this was in 1996. Since then, my car has had thhe exact same repair 5 more times, and it broke down again yesterday. …”

NHTSA complaint #702740, filed 1999-01

“While doing 65 miles it feels like someone is pushing consumer, and then all of a sudden it downshifts at 60 MPH. Consumer feels that car may rollover because when doing 60 MPH looked at speedometer and it was on 20mph.”
