Example complaints
Selected from NHTSA records; personal details are removed. They are consumer reports, not findings.
“The motorcycle developed a knocking in the drive. The dealer , after contacting Honda, said it was the rear brake rotor and not covered under warranty. I checked it myself and found all of the lug nuts loose on the rear wheel. From the difference in handling, and the fact the rear wheel has never been off the motorcycle, I'd guess it's been loose since I bought it new.”
NHTSA complaint #764906, filed 2002-07“While driving at 65 MPH something let go in engine, causing rear wheel and brakes to malfunction. Dealer was inspecting vehicle. Also, the clutch plate clip and ring seal failed causing smoke from tail pipes.”
