“Honda has a recall notice to repair the rear camera. We took the car in to get the recall service. The camera stopped working. Honda told us the diagnostic to determine what wasn't working on the camera would cost hundreds of dollars. This was recall service that disabled the camera. We should not be charged and they have messed up our car system.”

NHTSA complaint #11542206, filed 2023-09

“All my warning light come on every time I turn on the van. Been going on for several months. Was told the issue will get fixed if the front camera under rear view mirror get replaced. Feel like this needs to be recalled to get fixed, especially finding out Honda already knew there was a issue.”

NHTSA complaint #11773454, filed 2026-10

“Rear backup camera stopped working. Currently there is an active recall for 2018 Odysseys on all trim levels vin specific but somehow our vin number isn’t covered under the recall. I followed service bulletin 20-060 and it fixed the problem.”

NHTSA complaint #11620748, filed 2024-10

“When coming to a stop, usually in stop / go traffic and at times when coming to a complete stop, the auto-idle stop kicks in, but then immediately shuts the engine down and shifts vehicle into park. Vehicle has to be entirely shut down and restarted to bring the engine back. We have been taking the vehicle to the dealership since we bought it a couple of years ago. Seems to be mostly occurring in warm summer months. Also affects the audio entertainment, all sounds stop. …”

NHTSA complaint #11472050, filed 2022-07

“Suddenly one day in the morning taking my car from my garage, all alarms in my board turned on and stopped working: Automatic emergency braking, blind spot warning, forward and collision warning, lane departure warning, lane keeping assistance and rear cross traffic warning. I bring my car to the McLarty Honda service in Little Rock, AR. After calibration showed that I need a new multipurpose camera code U 3000-49. This is major concern for me. My van is in perfect shape, only 7 years old not so many miles. Doing some research sounds like this is an issue with Honda vehicles. …”
