“On several occasions, while driving, my vehicle would not accelerate when I pressed the gas pedal. It stalls and then bursts forward. I have noticed that it is more prevalent when I drive off. I have taken my car to the dealer service center, and they said they could not replicate the issue. My vehicle is available for inspection upon your request.”

NHTSA complaint #11466330, filed 2022-05

“So this started as a loss of power when traveling down the highway, i would push down on the accelerator to pass and loss of power for at least 2 to 5 seconds. Now it is happening more frequent with normal driving. I believe this to be a safety problem.”

NHTSA complaint #11659471, filed 2025-05

“Car abrupt stopped working while driving. All the lights on dashboard popped up with emissions warning on dashboard. The car was unable to start. Luckily for me I was in the neighborhood. This would have been very dangerous if I was on a highway or busy road. I had my children in the car. My vehicle was towed to the dealer who inspected it and said that my fuel pump needs to be replaced. A week prior the blind spot, emissions and transmissions light popped up and the car was semi drivable for me to make it to the dealer. …”

NHTSA complaint #11591120, filed 2024-05

“I was driving home at 4am on I-95 with my children in the car. My car has had a history of juttering and making a vibrational noise, but on the way home there was an issue with acceleration when using the gas pedal, and slow to gain speed. There were times when the gas pedal didn't respond to my foot depression at all, and did not accelerate. When I was almost home, many lights came on my dash including: Blind Spot warning, emissions systems problem, transmission problem apply parking brake when parked, stop driving when safe transmission problem see manual. …”

NHTSA complaint #11746473, filed 2026-06

“I just parked my car in my driveway and after an hour, i went back to drive but my car wont start at all. No power and cannot start . This happened twice i was in a restaurant and when i went back to my car, it wont start and no power. The first time it happened when i went to the restaurant and i towed my car to the service center and they told me It was a glitch . The 2nd time it happened they could not figure out and so they asked help from honda tech line and recommending to do a dashboard tear down to check the wire harness on my own expense. Very frustrating .”
