“I was driving and the Idle Start Stop was ON and when stopped, the Idle stop system turn OFF my vehicule it went to NEUTRAL when I took my foot out of the pedal the car didn’t want to turn ON again and I was in the middle of the ROAD and almost someone hit me. This issue has happened before multiple time.”
NHTSA complaint #11765471, filed 2026-09“I have a 2022 Honda Pilot Sport that has recently been fixed from a recall. I have supporting documentation regarding the fixes that I will attach here. I use this car for Turo so it is currently unlisted but if I get this cleared then my vehicle will be relisted again. The VIN and date is all included in the PDF files attached.”
NHTSA complaint #11570048, filed 2024-02“The auto idle engine system was on. I came to complete stop at a stoplight, the engine turned off. Then when I released my foot off the break, the car shut down and flashed a bunch of lights. The engine then shifts itself to neutral and then park. I have to press the start button several times to get the engine to turn on again. This has happened numerous times to myself and family members driving the car. The car just stops and shuts off. Very dangerous when other cars are behind you.”

NHTSA complaint #11719997, filed 2026-02“The front windshield camera is causing the brake system error light to come on and triggering the safety system to malfunction. This failed camera system disables safety features and causes lane assist, cruise control , lighting features, back-up camera, driving assist, and the collision system to be disabled, causing a major safety concern. This front camera system has failed and has been diagnosed by the Certified Honda dealer that my vehicle was purchased from. My vehicle is 4 years old and has 35k miles, and the system has failed. …”
