“I have had issues with shifting into gear. I have taken it to several different mechanics and they have not been able to find any issues at all. I also just found out that my fuel level sensor is not working either. I have not been able to find any recalls on either. It's upsetting to see that others are having the same issue with the shifting problem and it doesn't seem that anyone within Hyundai has bothered to see if this problem exists with other 5 speed accents.”

It starts skipping a few beats, loses acceleration. Recovers itself until the next time. Becomes quite intermittent after that point. I got to jacksonville after leaving here. Lost power, tossed white smoke out the tail pipe. Just lugs along and then recovers. So I pulled off the freeway. Into a shopping mall. Turned it off. Started it again? Nothing but white smoke out the back end. I called a tow truck. Had it towed into the local Hyundai dealership. Where after an hour? …”
