“Have had vehicle several times to dealer ship since we bought used vehicle for sway bars coming loose this seems to be a issue that they just cant get resolved . The last time I was driving vehicle out of no where it started making the thumping noise it startled me I was pulling over to check my steering I was almost rear ended pulling off highway. Reading some internet sites this seems to be a problem with this vehicle.”
NHTSA complaint #10676206, filed 2015-01, 50,000 miles“The contact owns a 2009 Hyundai Accent. The contact stated that the brake pedal abnormally traveled to the floorboard when depressed. The contact had taken the vehicle to the dealer several times, but the failure was not corrected. The dealer replaced the brake cylinder four times. The contact spoke with the manufacturer and was told that the vehicle was operating in the manner in which it was designed. The failure mileage was 75 and the current mileage was 34,000. The horn was replaced. …”

Also, there was a noise coming from the wheel bearings. The horn needed to be replaced and the check engine light illuminated.”
