Example complaints

Selected from NHTSA records; personal details are removed. They are consumer reports, not findings.

“During routine city street driving, the sunroof spontaneously made a loud explosion sound, shattered and fell into the car. Glass hit myself and my passengers while the car was in motion. When I went to the dealership to address the issue, I was told I would have to pay for the repairs or submit to my insurance. I have had this $40,000 car for 3 months, prior to this incident the trunk was leaking every time it rained and had to be repaired.”
