2014: “My 2014 Genesis Coupe 2.0t rspec has an issue with the rear break caliper it goes out of alignment and slowly shaves down the caliper and the rotor bolt broke off. Also my turbo bypass valve gets stuck everytime I get to highway speeds of 65 or 70 and I loose so much power as if the turbo charger is no longer working until I turn off the vehicle and restart it.”

NHTSA complaint #11386559, filed 2021-01, 69,000 miles

2016: “2300 started my car to go get lunch (at work). I first noticed that my lights were not on (they are set to automatic) so I turned it back one and they turned on; however, the headlights would not. Also no sound when using signals. Lastly, the seat belt chime would alarm every 15 sec or so, the warning light on dash stayed on. After shutting off the car (went in store) and restarted it all seems to be good?”

NHTSA complaint #11324613, filed 2020-05, 18,000 miles

2010: “When applying pressure to my brake petal, the car did not stop. I almost was involved in a few rear end collisons. It was very scary! Dealership checked the brakes and nothing is wrong. I need to do a master cylinder change. Unfortunately, my car is no longer under warranty. Currently, it has 53,000 miles only. No recall for my vehicle.”
