“Nhtsa campaign number 16v575000 - my Hyundai is experiencing the exact same symptoms that is portrayed in the campaign number I have listed. I have taken it to a Hyundai dealership multiple times and have been told that they are unaware of what the issue is or have attempted to fix the issue yet it still occurs. Now, because I have just surpassed my warranty, the Hyundai dealership is making me pay for all diagnostics and fixes. My VIN, however, does not show that this was a part of this recall. All of my warning indicators illuminate. My steering becomes tight. My backup camera will not work. …”
NHTSA complaint #11130294, filed 2018-09, 43,000 miles“At times the vechicle surges forward when close to another vechicle when in cruise control. Heads lights have turn off, on, automatic, low with out any human interaction. Navagation screen went completely blank”
NHTSA complaint #11220516, filed 2019-06, 36,000 miles“This car loses control on ice covered roads, and has happened numerous times. The car appears to be over correcting when roads are ice covered. The rearend of the car begins to slip from side-to-side beginning at speeds of around 40/45 MPH. The problem is, it does not happen all the time. It is like there is something wrong with a stability module or something. Dealer say there is nothing they can do unless they can recreate the problem. A very scary situation when it occurs.”
