“My 2005 Hyundai Tucson (2.7l v-6 4wd) has for the last 1.5 years has been: 1.stalling out 2. Running very rough with no power (especially when raining or after several days of rain) 3. Cranks over but doesn't start 4. Engine quits running on highway (leaving us stranded on route I-80). All intermittently! I have had the car in a repair shop where they replaced the ignition coil pack assembly (6/2011). Then it failed again but not long enough to get something diagnosed, so I drove it just knowing someday it was going to happen again. …”

NHTSA complaint #10225887, filed 2008-04, 31,300 miles“I have a 2005 hyundi Tucson 2.7l v6. Im having problems with the vehicle stalling when coming to a stop. The problem happened today at a stop sign. Thankfully there wasn't another car in front of me because I couldn't stop in time for the sign after it stalled. This has not been the first time this has happened. Its happened about 6 other times, all when coming to a stop at traffic lights, stop signs and yield signs. The car does start right after its stalled. I've done a fair amount of research on this issue and it seems it hasn't been solved yet. …”

Within a few weeks after owning the car it would just die anywhere and at anytime. I contacted the dealership numerous times to only get little assistance and a few repair attempts without success. It died 5 separate times on the 14 freeway in the evening after picking up my boys in rosamond and had 5 near fatal accidents which I documented where I was and the time and date. …”
