The dealer replaced the vehicle with a new one. The failure recurred on the second vehicle. The vehicle is currently at the dealer for diagnosis. The current and failure mileages were 50.”

She had to release the hatch from her neck. She suffered much pain and has sought help from doctors. The contact went to the dealer and stated that she no longer wanted the vehicle; however, they refused to take it back. The manager stated that this was not a common failure. She believes it is a safety hazard for the rear hatch to fall down on its own and could cause more serious damage to others in the future. The VIN was unknown. …”
