“I noticed my 3rd brake light was no longer working. I have noticed other Infiniti G35 coupes with non- functioning 3rd brake lights. I've been told this is a common problem that I believe should be addressed by a re-call. It is an expensive part and labor charge to repair. Please induce Infiniti to replace these lights at no charge to the customer. Thank you.”

NHTSA complaint #10547312, filed 2013-10, 39,400 miles

“The third LED brake light is not working properly. Got pulled over on august 28th because the officer said my third brake light wasn't working. I got the light tested and the car shop said they would test the light to see if it was the light itself or there is a short due to wiring. The car shop said the light worked so there must be a wiring malfunction some where in the car that makes the light work properly.”

NHTSA complaint #10482818, filed 2012-11, 136,000 miles

“We have had on going brake problems with this vehicle. It started immediately. Grinding noise in rear brakes. We had to replace after just one month. Since then we have replaced the front brakes and rotors twice and rear brakes one other time. This is ridiculous when you consider this car is only barely three years old and has just 29,000 miles on it.”

NHTSA complaint #10189324, filed 2007-05, 102 miles
