“The contact owns a 2015 Infiniti Q70. While operating the vehicle in the driveway, it surged forward and crashed into the parking barrier in the neighbor's yard. The failure occurred without warning the failure occurred twice. A police report was not filed. The vehicle was towed to the dealer. The front end and undercarriage of the vehicle experienced severe damage. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. There were no injuries. The failure mileage was approximately 23,000. Updated 05/16/17”
NHTSA complaint #10959731, filed 2017-03, 23,000 miles“Car will stop accelerating with no warnings then will start back move when you let the sit for and hour. Engine light will not light up when the incident happened so the problem can not be diagnosed until the engine come on. However when the engine light does come you can take to dealership and they will tell that the transmission speed sensors need to be replaced in which the sensor is located inside the transmission and in conjunction to that it is recommended that the valve body should be replaced also. …”
