“The driver side seat has felt loose and not secured for some time and rocking while driving. I am just learning that multiple Infiniti/Nissan models have had similar problem where seat mounts at rail/frame are coming loose and creating a potential safety issue. Previous attempts to have a retailer resolve were unsuccessful as they tried to charge me several thousand dollars for it. I plan to try again at different retailer when I take it in for NHTSA Recall 25V-437.”

NHTSA complaint #11690094, filed 2025-09

“Driver’s seat will not move forward. Driver cannot reach the pedals. This has been an ongoing/intermitten problem. While the car was under warranty, Infiniti of Ft Myers, FL attempted to fix the problem and eventually replaced the components. The problem was fixed until last spring. When I reported the problem to Nissan last spring, they told me there was nothing they could do. I explained it was a safety issue. They didn’t care. The following day, the seat moved forward on its own so I didn’t pursue it. Yesterday, it happened again and today it did not reset itself. …”

NHTSA complaint #11466239, filed 2022-05, 53,000 miles

“The driver seat electric motor has failed on three separate occasions. 7/29/21, mileage 22,984 9/3/21, Mileage 24156 7/12/22, Mileage 34,414 When the electric motor fails the seat can not move forward or back. Depending on the seat position at failure, certain individuals would not be able to reach the pedals to safely drive the vehicle. This could create a serious safety issue requiring some one to drive without reasonable control. Each time the motor failed it was replaced by the dealer. …”
