“Apparently as all other complaints are similar with the brake light coming on and as I apply pressure to the brake to stop the scrubbing and scraping sound is unbearable, I've been told it's the brake booster is bad for Infiniti QX56. Fix the problem if everyone is having the same issue, please before someone gets killed. Also there's an exhaust leak which you can tell by a flickering noise when you crank up and accelerate.”
NHTSA complaint #10806141, filed 2015-11“The contact owns a 2008 Infiniti QX56. The contact stated that while parked, he noticed a ticking sound. The vehicle was taken to the dealer for diagnosis. The technician stated that the engine manifold was fractured and would have to be replaced. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 80,000.”
