“I bought an Isuzu Vehicross and for the first month, everything worked fine. 6 weeks after my purchase, my driver side window came completely off track. I have had it fixed 3 separate times, and now my passenger side is starting to fail. Isuzu claims it is not a design flaw, but I have spoken with several of their mechanics at various dealers and they've all admitted to this being a very common problem which Isuzu won't deal with.”

I also owned another 2000 vx that was totaled in an accident. My first one, and this new one has ha the power window mechanism on the driver's side fail, and the passanger side is failing due to a track alignment issue. Upon coming in contact with an organization of several hundred Vehicross enthusiasts I discovered that this type of window failure is epidemic with this model car. …”
NHTSA complaint #10116388, filed 2005-04, 65,000 miles“The windows of my 2000 isusu Vehicross constantly bind up. I've had to remove the seal around the windows just to get them to roll up. This is a constant problem with the make of the vehicle and is a serious annoyance!”
NHTSA complaint #10116130, filed 2005-03, 55,000 miles“1) normal use 2) the failure was in both the driver and passenger windows, and it has made dangerous driving conditions. The windows roll down fine, but wont roll back up. It is very frustrating when I am going 60 MPH on the highway, and I can't get my windows up, especially when its raining here in the seattle area. There has not been an accident caused by this failure yet, but it is an a problem that needs to be fixed. I have talked with other owners of my vehicle, and they also have the same problem with the windows. …”
NHTSA complaint #10114847, filed 2005-03, 73,000 miles“I own a 2000 Vehicross by Isuzu. I bought it new four years ago and have only 26,000 miles on it. A few months ago the power window mechanism on the driver's side had to be replaced due to a failure of the track alignment. It cost me $800 to fix. Upon coming in contact with an organization of several hundred Vehicross enthusiasts I discovered that this type of window failure is epidemic with this model car. Some of the owners have had multiple failures -- I.e., the windows have been fixed only to fail again, sometimes three or four times. …”
