“I own a 2016 Jaguar F-Type R. Some of these cars have an inherent manufacturing flaw with the coating on the trim pieces. From my research I discovered that this is a wide ranging problem for their vehicles in geographic locations that are consistently hot. Jaguar Land Rover North America is well aware of this problem. On 1/24/20 I brought my vehicle in for service. On this service call the vehicle was under warranty. I pointed out the issue with the right side vent trim piece, the worst of the deteriorating parts. The coating was deteriorating from the heat. …”
