“Both drive shafts , fuel tank and sunroof were replaced, the sunroof malfunctioned-3 or more times, the blinkers and lights failed, tires blew out, air bag light remained on, the passenger front seat belt malfunction, trunk latch issues, heating and AC system had gone out, surge in engine on acceleration, rubbing noise in steering column, constant whining noise in engine, fuel gauge not working, odometer stopped working while on the freeway, no bright lights except when the car was shut off, interior lights remained on after the car was shut off, safety latch on console failed twice, burning…”
NHTSA complaint #10008249, filed 2004-05, 1,000 miles“When applying the brake pedal, the brakes failed. The consumer was able to maintain control of the vehicle and pulled over. The vehicle was towed to a dealer for inspection. The mechanic informed the consumer that the brakes needed to be replaced. The bracket that held the pads had broken and currently the left rear wheel was damaged, there was also a gasoline smell, there was vibration and or metallic sound when the vehicle speed was over 45 MPH, and the navigation system broke. The consumer also had steering problems.”
