2004: “First off, car had ABS light on. Dealer replaced every ABS component. Now engine and ABS light are interchanging on and off. Believe to be a wiring fault. Also, transfer case has gone out twice in 2 years. I have heard from multiple sources that transfer cases fail often in these cars which I believe to be a manufacturers defect.”
NHTSA complaint #11092787, filed 2018-05, 99,000 miles2006: “In two occasions the vehicle has accelerated with no apparent reason after the brakes where applied. In the latest incident I was parking the vehicle in a fast-food restaurant when it happened, thankfully no other cars where affected by the incident. I would like to know if there has been a recall related with this type of occurrence.”
NHTSA complaint #10660432, filed 2014-11, 100,000 miles2002: “I was traveling sb i25 mile marker 251 on7/7/17 at 13;20. When a 6ft long tire debre was in the road and got hit by truck and thrown into my radiator and damaged the front end of my vehicle. When I talk to chp he had an earlier report of this yet it was in the road when I entered onto what I believed was a safe highway. I have the required liability insurance, this is not covered. The trucking co says they arent liable so the only other liability is cdot since the road wasn't safe.”
