Example complaints

Selected from NHTSA records; personal details are removed. They are consumer reports, not findings.

“I was driving at 50 MPH and the vehicle started shaking violently and I had to slow down and pull over before the shaking would stop. Another time I was driving at 50 MPH again and hit a small bump and the violent shaking again occurred. Again I had to slow down considerably before it stopped shaking. This is known as death wobble and chrysler knows it. They need to be held accountable for using cheap parts on jeeps.”

NHTSA complaint #10498375, filed 2013-02, 125,000 miles

“While cleaning wheel consumer was turning the cloth in a circular motion with his hand. And lugs: nuts bolts started turning on their own . Bolts were coming loose on driver's side wheel.”
