“The contact owns a 2008 Jeep COMPASS 4X4. When the vehicle was started, the air bag warning indicator was continuously illuminated. The failure recurred each time the vehicle was started. While driving at various speeds, the contact began to hear static coming from the radio that caused the radio to power off. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, but the failure was unable to be determined. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 80,000.”
