“Complaint - The wiring harness in my engine compartment is mounted on the firewall below the cowl. It runs from the driver’s side to the passenger side. On my vehicle, it has a significant drop on the driver's side, almost hitting the master brake cylinder cover. The wiring harness does move significantly on the driver's side. Note-Some kinds of clips are molded onto the wire harness cover. …”

NHTSA complaint #11473068, filed 2022-07

“I was told the vehicle has a TSB out for stuck thermostat in the engine. It can cause malfunctions, overheating, etc. we also have an issue with the trunk door not closing or opening properly due to a module issue.”

NHTSA complaint #11657764, filed 2025-04

“Our car is now having two issues: 1. The first issue is extremely scary, but we found a temporary work around so have been dealing with it for months as we needed are car. If the auto stop/start is not turned off (which has to happen ever time the car is started), the car essentially puts on an emergency break and shuts down the car at the first for second stop. This happened in the middle of a busy intersection the first time and happened numerous other times including while I was on the phone with the Jeep dealership. …”

NHTSA complaint #11667816, filed 2025-06

“I am filing this complaint because my Grand Wagoneer has experienced repeated, serious safety-related failures involving the braking system, electrical/communication systems, and vehicle shutdown. I no longer believe this vehicle is safe to operate. The most serious problem has occurred more than once. On July 21, 2026, while driving, the brakes failed. The brake pedal went to the floor and the vehicle would not stop normally. Multiple warning lights/messages appeared. I ultimately had to shift the vehicle into Park to prevent a collision. …”

NHTSA complaint #11763422, filed 2026-09

“Travelling with my young daughter on the Freeway at Freeway speeds at 9pm (nighttime). The entire vehicle just shut down. EVERYTHING - completely dark. Steering went out. Brakes went out. I had to get the car to basically drift to a shoulder and slow down gradually in a spot where we would be safely out of the way of traffic. Again no brakes or steering and completely dead. Hazzard lights would not work. I had to get the car towed and get my daughter and all of our stuff out of the car on the freeway at night in the complete dark. Scary stuff. …”
