“Engine shut down on highway while doing 55 mph. Almost was in a crash with multilabel cars. Second issue Forward Collision Warning failed on a sunny morning. A semi rolled and dumped it load causing the cars in front of me to stop suddenly. The Forward collision did nothing and did not apply my brakes. I missed the car in front of mine by a couple feet.”

NHTSA complaint #11614436, filed 2024-09

“I was at a stoplight, waiting to making a U-turn. The light turned green release the brake and went to hit the gas. The entire vehicle shut off. I lost all power and had to restart the vehicle in the middle of the intersection with vehicles behind me. It took at least 30 seconds and I ended up having to wait a cycle on the light because I couldn’t go at the time. Once I got the car back on, I lost power steering and my check engine light came on. I was able to make it to parking lot. …”

NHTSA complaint #11739837, filed 2026-05

“We the dealership technician had the vehicle for a repair, he was driving it back-and-forth to work like he owned the car and one day He was leaving his home to go to work and the suspension failed so that had to be fixed and that was back on one of the many time it was in the shop. The stop/start engine doesn’t engage for me when I break for me. For me to get it to engage I have to slam on the break as if I was bracing for an accident and then the stop/star engine mode will engage. …”

NHTSA complaint #11630529, filed 2024-12

“While driving my 2023 Grand Wagoneer the Serv 4WD light and dash spelled out Service four wheel drive, it lit up the anti collision light, ECS, TCS, and HOLD!. The parking brake also engaged automatically while driving at least 4 times. This is a serious safety concern to allow a vehicle to continue driving with the ability to automatically engage the parking brake while driving. The safety of my entire family was put at risk. I currently have the vehicle sitting at the dealership to be diagnosed and reproduced as the vehicle lost all power after this incident. …”

NHTSA complaint #11673436, filed 2025-07

“At engine idle with vehicle parked or driving in heavy traffic, exhaust fumes are entering the passenger compartment. I am not aware of any apparent exhaust leak. The fumes seem to be entering by way of the fresh air intake. I have confirmed CO readings with 2 different detection devices. If the vehicle is moving the readings have been 3-96 ppm. If the vehicle remains stopped with engine running, readings have been +100 ppm. This is a life safety concern. My local dealer had a service appointment over 1 week out 10/22/25. I asked Stellantis to escalate the case and have a reference number. …”
