“The doors do lock through the electrical system. You can manually lock and unlock the vehicle but can not lock/unlock through the electrical system. Cd player also does not work. I believe the issue may be stemming from the fuse box under the hood, I have checked all the fuses and everything shows to be good.”

“I have a Jeep Liberty 2011 w/ a sky slider roof- where the entire roof is fabric and slides back. It stopped working & wouldn't shut on tuesday and the only place that could put it into a garage and look at it before the rain- was the dealership. I heard back from them today- they no longer make the part that's broken. They were able to shut the roof, but I can never open it again b/c it won't shut and I'll have to pay them $243 again to close it. …”

NHTSA complaint #11326523, filed 2020-05, 132,000 miles

“I have a 2011 Jeep Liberty with a sky roof, our veh barely has 85k miles on it. We are having an issue with the roof leaking, wind noise and now out sky slider has broken. We had no had any issues prior, one day when we were trying to open the sky slider it would not open. When it finally did open, it got stuck while we were closing it and now we have a giant hole in our roof because it will not close.”

NHTSA complaint #10971998, filed 2017-04, 85,000 miles

“My airbag light came on a few weeks ago and hasn't stopped going on and off it makes that annoying sound the whole trip every time I drive, the heat won't cut on it blows cold air I've had it looked at and repaired allegedly but it still won't blow hot air, the car keeps stalling and it has completely shut off on me 3 times while I have been driving once on a busy freeway I was luckily by grace of god able to turn the wheel off to the side of the road before it locked I have a 2 year old daughter and I'm currently pregnant this is insane and nobody can tell me what's wrong with it or how to…”

NHTSA complaint #11395108, filed 2021-02, 123,439 miles

“The alternator on the vehicle went which affected the battery and the computer system, car nearly caught on fire. The repair person said this should have been listed as a recall because a certain fuse could have avoided the problem. The computer is on back order, going on 3 weeks and this appears to be a ongoing problem with these vehicles.”
