“Abs sensor , electrical stability control and 4x4 warning lights came on while driving and vehicle slowed down. We slowed down and pulled over. We restarted the car and drove for a couple of miles when it happened again. It has been a recurring issue; this could be dangerous because of the way to car slows down unwarranted. The ABS light is illuminated, meaning the ABS may not work in an emergency. I have seen many complaints about this on car forums. …”

The contact stated that the rear lock nut and cotter pin that held the brake drum and rotor assembly was rusted. The vehicle was taken to the dealer for inspection. The dealer stated the vehicle was not under warranty and therefore would not be repaired. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the issue. The failure mileage was unknown.the VIN was not available.”
