2007 Jeep Patriot FWD Brakes Problems

“After fueling with gas, my vehicle immediately stalled. It was then fine after I restarted it until I got to a roundabout where it stalled again, losing all power steering, brakes, power, speed, in heavy traffic. It was fine for a week after this until I got gas again, in which case, I was just about to enter the interstate when it stalled again, losing all of the basic functions again in rush hour traffic where I had to sit on the side of the road for 20 minutes while my vehicle ran and stalled repeatedly until it worked itself out. …”

“The contact owns a 2007 Jeep Patriot Fwd. While the vehicle was parked in the driveway, it lunged forward into oncoming traffic and crashed into another vehicle. The air bags failed to deploy at the time of impact. This is the second occurrence of the vehicle attempting to move while the brakes were depressed. A police report was filed. The failure and current mileages were 11,500.”
