“This beautiful condition Jeep patriot 2009 has not rust anywhere but the engine cradle rusted out and has huge rust holes where the engine cradle once was. Now I get clanking and cracking noises when I drive the car and believe the rusted out engine cradle is the issue. Searched web sites and seems to be an issue on other years for similar vehicles like the Jeep compass which shares that platform.”
