“There appears to be a design flaw in the 2017 Jeep Renegade in that when the washer fluid is used, the fluid drains next to the air intake and a large amount of vapor is drawn into the main cabin. This was verified by a certified Jeep dealer. Washer solvent fluid can be poisonous and harmful if breathed in. …”

NHTSA complaint #11065763, filed 2018-01, 1,800 miles

“The hose that holds the widow wiper fluid is made of cheap plastic and has cracked and leaks badly on the drivers side of the passengers section. I found a YouTube video wher the exact same thing happened to someone else car. Same model same problem and can cause other water damage. I have a video.”

NHTSA complaint #11470095, filed 2022-06

“My fog light has now caught fire and burned twice. The entire assembly has melted to pieces. This is a safety concern and can result in someone's vehicle burning to the ground and possible injury to someone. This is not ok that my fog lights are catching fire like they are doing that is from the manufacturer. I'm being held responsible for repairs also that's not ok as I'm not at fault for this occurring.”

NHTSA complaint #11441006, filed 2021-11

“This vehicle’s windows dull out and side mirrors get brown and orange spots on them. Seat Belts won’t hold your seat belt and can sometimes pop out while going down the road. It sets off the seat belt alarm and you have to keep trying to get it back in. There’s a Recall for some 2017 models, but this one doesn’t fall under the recall but has the same issues for the Engine cooling fan. Electric cooling fan won’t spin and causes the car to use up coolant and overheat. This also messes with your air conditioner and causes the inside of your car to get hot as it can only blow warm air. …”
