“Component Affected: ELECTRICAL SYSTEM / ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING / FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM The vehicle exhibits a severe, life-threatening defect involving the dual-battery and starter relay architecture (related to manufacturer code P2AF6 / Starter Relay 3 Stuck Off). On three separate occasions, the vehicle’s Auto Start-Stop system engaged normally upon braking, but completely failed to restart the engine when the brake pedal was released. Instead of restarting, the vehicle experienced a total software lockup where it forgot it was turned on. …”
