Selected from NHTSA records; personal details are removed. They are consumer reports, not findings.

“The car died/bricked up 2 days ago 7 days after owning the vehicle. They said it was a cell in the 12 volt battery. Just picked it up and drove it for 30 minutes it threw up a turtle error and jerked forward a few times Almost hit a pedestrian and a car in front of me. I parked it and getting it towed. It seems according to other owners these things are all bad.”

NHTSA complaint #11666352, filed 2025-06

“Vehicle would not go into gear when turned on. Vehicle would not turn off when attempted to turn off. Could not even open doors when attempting to get back in vehicle. I received notices to service the following: blind spot alert, electronic stability control, transmission, autopark, electric vehicle system. I received a notification that the vehicle was going 317 miles per hour. It is now in the shop for the 3rd time in 10 months for the same issues. This vehicle needs to be recalled as it is a hazard to the general public.”

NHTSA complaint #11734607, filed 2026-04

“Right after purchasing the Wagoneer S, a big red sign and a red wrench showed up on the dash, saying electrical issues. It happened every day. The car stopped in the middle of the road and did not want to move until I shut it off and turned it on again. Sitting in the garage the car would not go into gear, just had all the lights flash. Restarted and all worked. Took to dealer, they had it two days and told me they did not have a fix for the electrical issue. Took it home and 2 days later same issues. Called the dealer again and took it back to the dealer. …”

NHTSA complaint #11679814, filed 2025-08

“While driving my 2025 Jeep Wagoneer S, I experienced a sudden loss of regenerative braking, which caused the vehicle to take much longer to stop than normal. On initial brake application, deceleration was greatly reduced and required substantially more pedal travel and pressure to bring the vehicle to a stop. A “Regenerative Braking Failure” warning appeared in the instrument cluster. At the same time, the vehicle’s power output dropped. The display showed multiple warnings, including Electrical Vehicle System Fault (wrench-and-bolt icon) and Reduced Power (“turtle”). …”

NHTSA complaint #11697806, filed 2025-11

“Since July 2025, this vehicle has suffered from severe, recurring electronic and software glitches that critically affect driveability and safe operation. While driving, multiple critical warnings display on the instrument cluster indicating that the airbags are inoperable. Following or during these warnings, the vehicle experiences sudden power/system disruptions, after which the windshield wipers activate automatically on their own, and the turn signals completely stop working. These compounding electrical faults pose a severe safety hazard. …”
