Example complaints

Selected from NHTSA records; personal details are removed. They are consumer reports, not findings.

“As I was driving on a highway the front end of my 2007 Jeep wrangler started shaking violently. I had to pull over on the side of a highway in order to get it to stop shaking, which I was very thankful that the traffic wasn't bad and I was able to pull over. This as known as the Jeep death wobble. It has now done it 5 times, 3 of which were after the dealership said they fixed it. The first time they put a new damper on it. Now it is in the shop again after that didn't work and they are putting new tires on it. …”

“I have a Jeep wrangler unlimited sahara 4wd, bought new in may 2007. Since the 1st day, if I close all windows at the same time, the radio power cycles. This happens 90%+ of the time when I do it.”

NHTSA complaint #10287039, filed 2009-10, 100 miles
