“2005 Montana 5th wheel trailer with dometic refrigerator. The consumer stated after the recall was performed, the refrigerator stopped working, due to a fatigue crack in the boiler tube which caused ammonia to leak.”
NHTSA complaint #10260093, filed 2009-02“The contact owns a 2005 Keystone Montana fifth wheel. The vehicle has a dometic refrigerator, model rm2862. The contact stated that ammonia sprayed from the back of the refrigerator. A technician discovered a crack in the back of the unit. The contact received a recall letter regarding this same issue. The NHTSA campaign id number and part number were unknown. Updated 11/6/08”
