They have replaced the seat bottom and even rewired the car, but the airbag continues to come on and stays on. Due to the ongoing issue, dates and mileage are estimates and do not necessarily reflect the first date of the original issue.”

While driving 30 MPH, the clockspring malfunctioned without warning and the air bag light remained illuminated. The vehicle was diagnosed as needing the clockspring replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the issue. The failure mileage was 154,000.”
