“Purchased a brand new 2022 Kia Telluride. After less than 5K miles, engine overheated and I had to stop the car in order to let the engine cool down. The coolant level was fine, I did not see any leaks, and I did not notice an smoke from the engine compartment. After 30min of letting the car cool down, I started the car and checked to make sure the radiator fan was working - and it was working fine. The car's temperature gauge showed normal temp. I turned on the heater full blast as I drove home, just in case. Temperature remained normal. …”

The contact stated that on several occasions while driving at various speeds and while stopped, the check engine warning light illuminated, and the vehicle stalled. The vehicle was restarted after each failure. The vehicle was taken to a dealer on several occasions, but the failure was not duplicated. The vehicle was then taken to a dealer where it was diagnosed and determined that the ECM software needed to be updated. The vehicle was repaired, but the failure reoccurred two days later. …”
