2022 Land Rover Defender Technical Service Bulletins

466 technical service bulletins (TSBs) are on record for the 2022 Land Rover Defender. TSBs are notes manufacturers send to dealers about repair procedures for issues seen in the field. They are not recalls and do not by themselves mean a vehicle has a fault.

• 11001269May 17, 2024Other or unknown. Certain 21MY Defender Vehicles have been built with an under hood emission label with incorrect vehicle data. At the next service visit, retailers are to remove the under hood label and install a new, correct label.
• 11001266May 17, 2024Electrical system. A potential concern has been identified where customer could be left with a nonfunctioning vehicle as a result of a depleted battery State of Charge due to the door modules staying awake. Retailers will perform a software update to all door modules.

A concern has been identified where certain vehicles are failing to complete existing Software Over The Air (SOTA) updates for the Vehicle Domain Controller (VDC), PIVI and Gateway Module A (GWM). These vehicles have now been stopped from future SOTA attempts and require a wired intervention. A software update to the TCU and GWM is required
