“On 9/27/2007, my car (Lexus es330) went out of control due to sudden acceleration in a parking lot of a shopping center in glenview, il, and crashed with cars parked nearby. This car incident was reported to the car dealer, but I was told there was no problem with the car. The cost of repair was very high.”

I could never reproduce the problem hence did not report to the dealer. Last weekend I came to know via newspapers and tv that some of the Lexus cars are having a problem related to engine stalling. My problem was exactly the same with the Lexus and I have notice more than 35/40 times but could not reproduce when I wanted. I felt at times that the engine stalling may be due to impurities in the gas but was not quite sure about it. …”
