“While driving down the road at varying speeds I have noticed that the outside mirrors on my car change position without any input on the switch. During the week or so prior to the first time that this occurred, I had noticed that when returning to the car after leaving it parked overnight that the mirrors, and often the driver's seat would be out of their set memory position. Selecting the memory switch would return the seat and mirrors to their preset position. However this has now progressed to where the mirrors will change position while the vehicle is in motion. …”
NHTSA complaint #10381938, filed 2011-02, 39,000 miles“The contact owns a 2007 Lexus GS 350. The contact was making a right turn, the engine stalled and then started when the vehicle lunged forward. The contact was making a turn and the traction control kicked in and the engine stalled in the middle of the road again. When taking his foot off of the accelerator pedal and then depressed it again, the vehicle responded normally. The contact informed the manufacturer and it took them two months to send a factory representative to inspect the vehicle. They informed him that they could not duplicate the failure. …”
