2007: “2007 Lexus gx470 peeling blizzard pearl (070) paint color across entire vehicle (roof, sides, hood, doors, etc..). Lexus has acknowledged this issue is present in 2008-2009 gx470s, but our 2007 is not covered for repair even though it suffers the same issue. We have had estimates from Lexus body shop (local houston dealership) for ~$10,000+ to repair.”
NHTSA complaint #11353146, filed 2020-09, 130,000 miles2006: “I have repeatedly contacted Lexus requesting they honor an earlier commitment to replace the cracking of my dashboard ' I am especially concerned about the cracking where the passenger-side airbag would deploy ' the cracking could release small projectiles from the dashboard that could function like bullets in the event of an accident that deployed the airbag and its force”
NHTSA complaint #11253054, filed 2019-09, 120,000 miles2019: “Hello, my car is tilted to the right when traveling on highway. Also tilted a lot when I turn left. This is not normal because my other cars don't behave like that. I brought to Lexus dealer but was informed the car is normal. However, I need ntsb to check because I don't feel safe with this car. Note: I think this is a manufacturer defect because there are other people who complained on the internet about the same problem.”
