“The contact owns a 2016 Lexus LS. The contact stated that while driving approximately 35 MPH, the vehicle crashed into the rear end of a commercial truck. During the crash, both the front driver-side and passenger-side air bags failed to deploy. The driver sustained a fractured lumbar vertebra and the front passenger sustained chest and upper torso injuries. The passenger was transported to the nearby hospital. A police report was taken at the scene. The vehicle was driven back to the home. The cause of the failure was not yet determined. The local dealer was contacted regarding the incident. …”
