Example complaints

Selected from NHTSA records; personal details are removed. They are consumer reports, not findings.

“There was a condensation that formed inside the driver-side headlight. It caused the headlight to short-circuit and blow out. One simply needs to google 'Lexus rx headlight' and they will find this to be a common occurrence among 2004-2009 models of Lexus rx. Unfortunately, it appears Lexus/toyota will not issue a recall for a what is clearly a manufacturer defect, and demanding us to repair the headlight at our own expense, which is substantial. Could the NHTSA investigate these defects?”
