“Odometer Fraud. The contact purchased a 2010 Lexus RX 350. It was discovered that there was a mileage discrepancy. The vehicle was a private sale. At the time of purchase, the vehicle mileage was 139,000. It was discovered that the mileage was 177,000 in 2022. The contact contacted the Police, and the contact was advised to file a civil suit.”
NHTSA complaint #11753462, filed 2026-07, 177,000 miles“Odometer Fraud. The contact purchased a 2010 Lexus RX450H. The contact discovered that there was a mileage discrepancy after the purchase of the vehicle. The vehicle was a private sale. At the time of the purchase, the vehicle mileage was 118,000. It was later discovered that the mileage was 183,000.”
NHTSA complaint #11691776, filed 2025-10, 183,000 miles“Purchased a 2010 Lexus 450h in august of 2009 and less than one week after purchased my wife parked the car for two hours and returned and the battery was dead. Lexus sent someone to jump start it and we brought to service at the dealer in carlsbad, ca. The next day. They checked it over and said that the onboard computer never found a problem and that all appeared to be perfect. They doubted that the car was ever jump started but then called the towing people and found that to be true. They gave me a readout showing the car was fine and that the onboard computer showed no error.”

Or, the cd player will stop and eject the cd and switch to sirius radio station. Or, the entertainment system will just shut off and you have to try to get it back on by pushing buttons on and off. This happens when in motion driving on a city street or highway. This has been going on for many years and continues.”

Ever since then it’ll keep happening and it’ll startle me when I’m driving. Sometimes my speakers would have really loud static sound and it’s impossible to turn it off. It’s extremely dangerous to be startled like that when I’m driving.”
