“My Lexus has a mold problem. They have been unable to remedy it, but will not replace the vehicle. They have tried to remedy the problem no less than 7 times, but cannot eliminate the mold. Employees of Lexus of greenwich have admitted to me that they know this is a recurring problem. Yet they continue to return the vehicle, with mold, to their customers.”
NHTSA complaint #10471324, filed 2012-08, 25,000 miles“Rear liftgate closes in the winter time without warning. No problem in warm months. Had complained of this issue since I owned the car and was advised by Lexus dealer that this happens in the winter. For the most part I was able to catch it because it starts beeping now it just shuts and fell on me when I was loading groceries at the supermarket. The problem appears to be an issue with the struts because the same problem also happened with the hood when I was getting a jump when the car was parked in my driveway. Lexus offered to pay for the hood struts but not rear lift gate. …”
