Example complaints

Selected from NHTSA records; personal details are removed. They are consumer reports, not findings.

“Cruise control will not hold lock. Suddenly without warning and with no manual input the speed will surge to well over 80MPH and continues to accelerate until the cruise control is manually disengaged. Also sometimes it will go the other way dropping Suddenly to under 50 MPH after being running at 65MPH. This will happen without warning even on an empty highway with no other cars in front. I took the car to the dealer who told me other 2023 Corsairs have the same problem and they said they did a software update but the problem is still there and was not fixed.”

NHTSA complaint #11632287, filed 2024-12

“While the cruise control was engaged on the highway without touching anything the with the speed set to 65mph the speed would suddenly increase to in excess of 75 mph before I could catch it and reset the speed back to 65mph. Also there would be times when the speed would decrease below 65mph by 10 to 20 mph and not reset to the 65mph speed. This was happening when the AutoGlide self driving feature was not engaged- just regular adpative cruse control.”
