“I took my car in on 2/22/23 to fix the second back up camera recall. However on the night of 2/23/23 the whole screen went blue when put in reverse, and on the morning of 2/24/23 just the rear camera went blue. In both cases I fixed the issue by turning off and restarting the car.”

NHTSA complaint #11508902, filed 2023-02

“The backup camera turns blue and makes it unusable. I took the car to fix this under a safety recall. However it is still not fixed. This has been going on for 6 months which is unacceptable. Both the dealer and Lincoln (Ford) says I will be contacted when a fix is available. As I said it has been over six months and they still say that are working on it. Unfortunately it will probably take a kid to get run over before something is done.”

NHTSA complaint #11526369, filed 2023-06

“My backup camera still turns blue. I have had the recall done to fix the issue but it still happens occasionally. Seems to be just random when it happens and no direct cause when it does happen.”

NHTSA complaint #11455466, filed 2022-03

“The contact owns a 2021 Lincoln Corsair. The contact stated that while reversing, the rear-view camera displayed a blurry image. The contact stated that the failure made it very difficult to reverse while driving at night. The contact received a recall notification NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V048000 (Back Over Prevention). The dealer was made aware of the failure, however the contact was informed that the parts to do the recall repair were not available. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired by an independent mechanic or dealer. …”

NHTSA complaint #11707452, filed 2025-12, 8 miles

“The contact owns a 2021 Lincoln Corsair. The contact stated that while attempting to reverse, the rearview camera became inoperable. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V048000 (Back Over Prevention); however, the part to perform the recall repair was not yet available. The local dealer was not contacted.
