“Although the warning was displayed, I was not aware that my car only had an electronic power steering. This type of issue is one that can truly cause a serious accident should one is driving when their power steering go out. The power steering on this car stops more than just your steering wheel and I for one think that there needs to be a recall. It's a good thing that I was parked and glad because my daughter was with me.”

The vehicle was able to be restarted; however, the check engine reduced power and low oil pressure warning lights illuminated. The dealer was made aware of the failure. The technician diagnosed that the battery had to be replaced. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 38,932. The VIN was not available.”
